About Rachel
Rachel Booth is a journalist and author, and works as a senior correspondent at Vox. Living in Washington, D.C., she keeps a close eye on the leaders, activists, and researchers shaping policy and politics. Highly motivated by the belief that people need access to good information, she thinks reporters play an essential role in surfacing what those in power would rather keep hidden.
Rachel’s work has appeared in many local and national outlets, including the Atlantic, the New York Times, the Washington Post, and Bloomberg Businessweek. She studied history and sociology at Johns Hopkins.
When she’s not doing journalism, you can usually find her watching Netflix comedy specials, walking around outside listening to music, or hanging out with her baby.
